in #travel6 years ago

Hey there my Steemit Friends! In this Travel Pro Video Series we focus on specific places of interest for a given location. This may come in the form of parks, museums, beaches, cathedrals, and much more. Always an interesting series and always informative! Now come along with the Travel Pro and let's have a look around this place of interest now!

With over 11 years of travel experience I answer travel and international lifestyle questions. Leave a question in the comments and I may make a Steemit post just for you!

Burial customs in Latin America are very different than in North America. I have attended funerals in several Latin Countries and the customs most North Americans would find strange. Usually, they bury (or entomb) the bodies within 24 hours since most are not embalmed. But the family mourns for nine days after the death having people come to the house for prayers and refreshments twice a day, once at noon and once at 6 pm. The ninth day is usually the largest crowd.

You sure know a lot about Latin American culture. You comments are always welcome and always a great addition to my blog posts. Thank you so much for contributing CECI! Have a great day! -Dan

This is very interesting. I would love to travel to South America someday to learn more about their culture, food, people and of course the different locations. I blog occasionally about my trips to locations which I have visited. Will be adding a new blog about my recent trip to Darjeeling and Gangtok (East India) which I completed last week.

Good luck to you.

Thank you. Latin America is a very interesting place so is India. Best of luck to you as well!

What is the place where you would not like to return?

San Jose Costa Rica

Umm ok. Ja ja, no san José.
