Just a few kilometers from the center of the capital of the Republic of Kenya, an East African country, there is a pioneer orphanage in the world, within the Nairobi National Park, where they welcome defenseless elephants. The little elephants receive cares and pampering there, until they grow up and are able to rejoin the wild herds. During that time, baby elephants, barely beginning to show their fangs under their trunks, have fun playing with the mud and drink huge bottles of milk prepared by their caregivers. These giant orphans choose a name for themselves and at the same time hide a sad story: their mothers have been killed to serve the illegal ivory trade, which results in the killing of an elephant every 15 minutes in Africa, according to the orphanage. This is a magnificent work of charity for these animals, and it is good to know that these places exist.

Thank you so much for your entry. on one hand it is very cute but on the other, it just shows the sad story that happens in Africa each and every day. Have a good one. Tomas

It is true, we must also see that there are many countries that need help, among these we have Africa.
