İzzet Mehmet Pasha Mosque
IZZET MEHMET PASHA MOSQUE
The mosque was built in 1796 by Grand Vizier İzzet Mehmet Pasha. It is like a small modal of Nuruosmaniye Mosque in İsatnbul The mosque was built completely by the cut stones. 
The place for workship is square-shaped and the dimension is 13.5 m. The niches and the high estrades are very rich.There is a sultan’s signature on niche. There are a library, an ablution, two fountains and the shops of the foundation in complex. Its courtyard and minaret have been built on arches over the river.

Cami 1796 tarihinde Safranbolulu Sadrazam İzzet Mehmet Paşa tarafından yaptırılmıştır. İstanbul’daki Nuriosmaniye Camisi’nin küçük bir modeli şeklindedir. Tamamen kesme taştan yapılmıştır. Namaz kılma alanı kare biçimli olup eni-boyu 13,5 metredir. Minber ve mihrabı çok zengindir. Mihrabın üzerinde padişah III. Selim’in tuğrası bulunmaktadır. Caminin külliyesi içinde kütüphane, abdesthane, iki çeşme ve vakıf dükkanları yer alır. Caminin avlusu, altından geçen Akçasu kanyonu üzerine inşa edilen kemere oturmaktadır.
