#1 Is it WORTH to visit ZAKYNTHOS?

For our first featured post of today @lashotta takes us around the Zakynthos, Greece. The capital city of the island is Planos, even so, it's a small coastal town with just 1000 inhabitants. If you came looking for monuments, this is not the right island, as most of them were unfortunately destroyed in an earthquake. If on the other hand you enjoy stunning landscapes and beaches, this should be right up your alley! On the south side, you have a small different island Cameo, which is connected to the main island by a bridge, giving the place an incredible amount of charm. One of the most beautiful beaches on Zakynthos is Gerakas Beach. Due to it being a nesting place for turtles, it is under strict control and entrance is limited. If you have the opportunity to check it out, you definitely should though. Soft sand, crystal clear water and located in a beautiful bay! If you're looking for the landscapes, you should head to Keri Peninsula. There is a lighthouse there, giving you an incredible view over Great and Small Myzithra, two rock formations protruding from the sea. @lashotta also highly recommends taking a boat cruise around the island to see the most important coastal attractions and to go scuba diving! Last but not least we take a look around shipwreck beach, a tiny beach, which has a shipwreck on it and is simply stunning in its beauty.

#2 This way to happiness! - Horse riding near Pyramid Lake, Alberta, CA

For our second featured post of today @jalayn takes us to Pyramid Lake in Alberta, Canada. Booking the trip as a surprise gift to his wife. Whilst she is very comfortable in the saddle, @jalayn isn't really. Luckily the organizers will make sure you get a nice, slow horse in that case, haha! The trek starts through the forest, which makes for a very peaceful experience, with just nature all around you and the horses slowly making their way along the narrow path. Before you full well realize it, Pyramid Mountain comes into view through the branches, and what a sight it is. After reaching a viewpoint, that you would never willingly leave, it's time to take a small breather and take in the moment. The guide gives a little information on the surroundings, and it's time to head back down to the forest on the way back.

#3 Places Around B'ham - Street Photography Adventures on the Bus 11 Outer Circle Route!

For our last featured post of today @rimicane takes us around Birmingham, UK. The reason for her little get away, is a photographers meetup, and what a treat it is! After gathering together in a pub on Soho road it's time to set out. The first highlight is the Shri Guru Ravidass Bhawan Temple, a relatively new building, holding some beautiful detail. From here on we go to the King Edward VI Handsworth Grammar School, founded in 1862, with a distinct Harry Potter feel to it! Next up is the Handsworth Library, which has been in use for over a hundred years. To finish up the tour of Soho Road, we check out Guru Nanak Sewak Jatha Temple. Another relatively recent architecture, but more grand than the last one and with symbolism found all over.
