Travel Digest

One of our regular and most frequently featured Steemian @for91days went to the Correfoc fireworks parade in Spain recently. Yes, you heard me correct, its a parade not a display Normally, fireworks are displays, where spectators watch from afield, here everyone is actually part of the fun, you can get as close to the fireworks as you dare! From the photos and videos in the post, you can see that @for91days is a bit of a dare devil. He even picked up a new swiss cheese look shirt and a few burns that evening. The things he does for us here!!! Absolutely insane!!

After so much excitement, I think we need to bit of relaxation. @delishtreats did just that on her last day in Mallorca. Her plan was was to get to the beach after lunch and spend some time there. On her way to the beach, she got sidetracked as she passed through a couple of towns, where she stopped for a visit. The first one Bunyola isn't typical tourist town, in fact there's hardly many locals there when she strolled around but it was very charming. The second town Sóller was a bit busier and there was even a queue to ride the vintage tram. Eventually she arrived at the beach in the late afternoon just in time to watch the sunset. Perfect timing.

Japanese Gardens are famous for their landscape, and although @jrvacation aren't nature lovers they decide to pay a visit to Japan' s "Top 3 most beautiful landscape garden" the Kenrokuen Garden. This is a great way to spend an afternoon just strolling around the beautifully maintained garden, admiring the ponds and bridges. It even boasts a fountain from the 19th centuey and is said to be the oldest in Japan.
