Live Action: Clayton Bay, South Australia
We're coming to you live from a nice little spot to the south east of Adelaide today! It's called Clayton Bay about one hundred kilometres from the city of Adelaide. You can see us here grinning like a couple idiots.
Today it's about 22 degrees and partially cloudy with a breeze so kind of perfect to be honest. As you can see behind us Clayton Bay is on a lake, Lake Alexandrina, and it's looking pretty nice today. The town itself is more a holiday spot with many vacation shacks and some permanent residents. The shacks are pretty much houses, not huts made of drift wood and sticks though. A holiday home here will set a person back between $300,000-$550,000.
We stopped in for a picnic on the banks of the lake and to watch the yachts racing on the water and even had a visit from a roving band of jet skiiers and some pelicans...Just on pelicans, did you know their beak can hold more food than their belly-can? (See what I did there?) 😂 OK, I know it's a bad dad-joke!
We've spent the last hour watching a dad and his two sons wind surfing, trying to anyway, and it was cool to see the kids having a go rather than playing video games. Well done to that dad!
Anyway, I better get back to enjoying the day. I hope you're all having a great weekend and that my dad joke doesn't cause anyone to stop following me. 😉 I'll probably do a post later in in the week about Clayton Bay but have to see what sort of photos I got on my camera first. For now it's good bye.

If we have a bull run this year similar to the one from 2017, but at a whole different price level, you might get that holiday house over there. I would be pleased with only a jet ski for now :)
