LA PISTOCHE: Swimming Pool & Bar in Luang Prabang, LAOS
This is a cool hangout in Luang Prabang where you can have a cocktail and swim. Is it a good idea to get drunk then swim?
It was a lovely day and it felt good to jump in.
It was happy hour, so we bought one and got one free.
Sangrias were $2.50 each because of the happy hour prices.
The sign is a bit hard to see.
I had to remove some debris and straighten the sign for this shot. I thought I was lazy, apathetic, and lacked attention to detail, then I came to Laos.
They asked if I had my NDA forms for taking their picture, so I put my hand in my pocket and pulled out my middle finger. I love Europians! Les americains n'ont aucun sens de l'humour !
I didn't pay to get in. I can speak Lao and told the receptionist that I was a big youtuber and would bring her boss more customers. When she asked if I needed a swimsuit, I told I couldn't wear one. I can swim better than 99% of this planet. I'm a surfer. I was that loner kid who went to the YMCA and spent all day trying to be Jean-Claude Van Damme doing kata underwater. I told her I couldn't go all balls out next to these two young handsome Europeans.
The receptionist thought she was ugly. I told her that she was one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen. Girls here don't know how beautiful they are.
I didn't mean to take this piss on us yanks. American birds can swim too.
These guys were so afraid to model for my travel blog. It took two jokes to get these real smiles.
