This is all so fascinating to me. My wonderful daughter-in-law is from Nalchik and her family lives there still. She and my son went there last fall for two weeks and I am sure they will have occasions to visit again. The history you have shared here is so interesting
I just looked at the map - Nalchik is in Russia but not far from Georgia. Anyway, Caucasus is a large area and is beautiful
