Yes, totally different than we used to go beach before.
In general, the best and least likely time for local tourists to come is on weekdays and school day because at this time of the year less people are here.
So if you want to go to Bukit Gambang Water Park in Pahang, avoid during school holidays or weekends.
So, you probably feel that place is yours because there aren't many people.
Visit Malaysia 2020 most likely will be pack with local and tourist during dry season. Please plan your journey and keep update on weather to avoid theme park is closed.
