Tale of a cottage with a wavy roof
Walking through the villages and small towns in the Patagonic region of Chile, one of the traits that has intrigued us the most is about the essentiality of the "architecture". Even if that word sounds a bit high-sounding for constructions that we could define slums and certainly not habitable houses. We often wondered how it is possible to live in these tin cans houses, that don't seem to be the best shelter where to find protection from the moisture and the cold temperature of these rainy regions .
We also experienced sleeping under a corrugated aluminum roof and before we were able to get to sleep, the count of heavy rain drops crashing with clatter will have passed a lot of sleepless sheep flock.
Yet behind such thin walls lurks the lives of humble and willing people, who share the daily life, even if in hardship, with a unity and sense of the family that we are losing, nowadays eternally isolated in front of our electronic devices.
Even this rusty-roofed little house, with a modest appearance, tells the lives of its tenants. It has a civic number like any house and a garbage bin that denotes a certain degree of civility and order. The bicycle is a clue of dedication towards their children as the teddy bear at the window.
At the other window there is a Christmas decoration with a picture of a little girl, perhaps a dear relative prematurely disappeared.
At the top a sign that is a clear stance on violence against women. Few elements that speak for the family that we do not see, but imagine and presume happy and united in their little house.

Your writing is interesting but I do hope you can tell more deeper story of it's tenants. That would be more to read.
