Thank you for such extensive report of your trip, I have never been in Bulgaria and for me it was like a flat land but looking at all the hills and mountainous area that looks amazing and this is something I discovered for me. I like the Drowning Man lake, that is so clean and blue and situates in the valley. Amazing, water must be very cold and clean too. That was a little adventure to stay outside and to sleep in tents like in childhood, hopefully it was not too cold. Beautiful photographs and thank you for the information :)
