🍜Asia - Weekly Round-Up #24

in #travelfeed6 years ago

Welcome to today's weekly Travelfeed Asia roundup brought to you by @guchtere and @for91days.

While traveling in South East Asia, you're bound to encounter some unexpected moments, and our first Asia weekly-roundup article, a motorbike accident in Vietnam, proves that. Another unexpected sight comes to us off the coast of an island in the Philippines: a sunken cemetery best seen via a drone. After these two exciting articles, let's get into something more chill; our last feature admires the beautiful Jama Masjid sandstone mosque in New Delhi.

Three BEST posts for Asia

  • Half of the SBD post rewards will be paid out to the winning entries (please, expect a seven-day wait);

25.06.2017 Vietnam, Hội An -> Quy Nhon ± 300 km
written by @traveleranna

I'm driving about 60 km/h when all of the sudden a Vietnamese woman pushes her scooter on the middle of the highway. She is standing there 30/40 meter in front of me, just waiting and looking at me.

The Sunken Cemetery of Camiguin Island
written by @traveltramp

Camiguin is a beautiful, volcanic island in the southern Philippines, but with the exceptional, natural beauty, there's comes also a dangerous natural, and potentially deadly element.

Travelog 16 | India Series: Admirable Mugal Architecture in Red Sandstone
written by @iammegankylie

Taj Mahal, in my opinion, is the most popular destination for travelers and locals alike in India. However, if we dig deeper into the historical sense of the place, it has deep connections and influences from its architectural predecessors during the era.
