This week, we have the most important announcement for you since TravelFeed received a huge delegation by @roelandp.

Some of you might have already heard about @steempress-io. They have developed an awesome Wordpress Plugin that enables you to publish from a Wordpress blog directly to the Steem Blockchain. They are curating with over 1 Million Steem Power and in cooperation with TravelFeed, they now follow our curation trail for posts that have been posted with Steempress. This means, that whenever we curate a post of you that has been posted from your Wordpress blog with Steempress, you will also receive a huge upvote from @steempress-io! This only applies for Steempress posts and not for posts created on steemit.com, busy.org, ...

So what are you waiting for? Go to your existing Wordpress blog*, install the Steempress plugin and configure the settings to include "travelfeed" in your tags. If you don't have a wordpress blog yet, this might be the right time to start one ;)

*Note: A hosted Wordpress installation is required since wordpress.com won't let you install plugins

In 2006 I spent a few months in Dubai. This was at the invitation of well-intentioned Family who were based there and who, seeing that barge had not established himself in the world, wished to provide him with an opportunity to do so. I was convinced to at least give it a shot. I wasn't doing anything else at the time anyway, and the idea did have distance appeal. In the end, the experience proved valuable, for it highlighted many things that I did not wish to be a part of.
