1- Kinkau-ji or Golden Pavilion
It was built in the 14th century in Kyoto Japan as a retirement villa for one of the top dignitaries at that time. It is colored in golden and is surrounded by beautiful and lush green gardens from three sides and a pond from the other. When its image reflects in the pond, it completely mesmerizes the person. It is one of the most visited places in Japan.

2- Tokyo Imperial Palace
The emperor of Japan lives in here and it is also the administrative hub of Japan. Some parts of it are rebuilt on the ruins of the previous castle but it is rebuilt with such tact and skill that no one can tell the difference that it is not from the past. It also houses the museum which exhibits the art, culture and traditions of Japan. Many items and monuments from the past are also their and it is the must visit place for a tourist.

3- Tokyo Tower:
If you want to see the modern face of Japan and how technologically strong and sound it is, then the “Tokyo Tower” is the best place to visit. It is the second tallest man made structure in the Japan and totally resembles the Eifel Tower. It is used for communication and observation purposes. Tourists can climb it and can see the different parts of the Tokyo from it.

4- Great Buddha of Kamakora
If you are the ardent believer of the Buddha, then you can go to the monument of Buddha of Kamakora. It is a figure totally made of bronze and 13 meters high and weighs approximately 93 tons. It is reported to have been made in 1252 AD and is standing in the open air.
The other places like Todaji Wooden Temple (the biggest Wood Structure in the world, Mount Fuji, Himeji Castle, Jigokudani Monkey Park, Kiyomizu-dera and Hiroshima Peace Memorial, which should also be visited to taste the true love of tourism.
