Hello there! Above is my entry for Tuesday, re: Sinigang Soup.
You need meaty bones or beef ribs added with young jackfruit. Boil the meat until tender. Boil sliced jackfruit and set aside. Do not include the first boiled water.
Add the boiled jackfruit over meat then add red pepper bells, ginger, lemon grass. Lastly, add batwan to bring out the sour flavor hence called the sinigang. Add seasonings to enhance the flavor.
The sour soup is a good appetizer. Try it!
