Day 4: Rice Fields and Boat Rides
Hello my Steemit friends! Today I am going to share some photos from the last day of my three day trek to Inle Lake.
Once again we started early to try and get some kilometers in before the day became too hot.
The third day of the trek is the shortest day in terms of kilometeres. The first part of the trek was downhill and a bit rocky in places but still quite easy.
We found this beautiful Banyan tree and relaxed its shade for a while.
The last part of the trek was through another village and amongst the rice fields.
After lunch in the village we got on boats to take us on the final leg of the journey into Nyaung Shwe.
After three days of trekking it is nice to shower, relax, and enjoy the evening. Tomorrow more from the town of Nyaung Shwe and Inle Lake.

There is something about a shower after all that trekking that is sooooooo lovely :)
and banyan trees... the are probably one of my top 3 favorite trees!!!! :)
