Christmas - tree decorating

We spent the evening listening to Christmas music, and decorated the Christmas tree.
Here is the tree before hand, we went with an artificial tree as of a couple years ago. It was hard to break the tradition of a real live tree, but It does allow us to put the tree up sooner and keep it up longer. Everyone in the family has allergies and can't be around a live tree for very long in the house as it dries out it gets everyones sinuses acting up. The fake tree is faster and easier. Basic lights were already on the tree, as we left it on from last year. We added colorful lights. and of course a whole bunch of ornaments, some that were mine, some my parents, and some from my grandparents. I like the look of a fun and festive tree this time of year, much more then a themed tree that does not seem down home. So I just need to wrap presents to go under the tree, and get the Christmas cards mailed out, almost ready. I wish you all a Merry Christmas!!
