Tree Tuesday - Embracing Fall Beauty

It’s been awhile since I posted for #TreeTuesday initiated by @old-guy-photos. It’s harder getting out these days to capture nature’s beauty. My hands are tied with duties at home but ever so often I manage to get outside to enjoy photography.

Yesterday after I photographed my cousin’s event I decided to take a stroll and grab some shots of these beautiful Fall colors. I have been keeping a mental note of which areas has the most colorful trees so when I had the chance to get around to it I would know exactly where to go. Just three days prior to taking these, each of these trees had more color and leaves on them. I couldn’t believe how quickly they had changed. With the Fall season you have to act fast or you will miss out. I wish this beautiful season lasted a little longer.

Anyhoo I wish I could have captured them when they were still vibrant. I am always motivated when I read @tattoodjay’s posts. He takes vibrant outdoor shots and is always encouraging me to just get out and take more. I snapped a few while driving on the highway...I know crazy right? I literally had my Cannon around my neck and just aimed it towards the window, snapped and hoped for the best moving outcome LOL!

These first two shots were taken right down the street from the event. I literally parked my car on the side of the road to get this angle of color.

This tree was right across the way from where I parked. I wanted to get all that I could before I left.

I took this shot while parked at a stop sign. I love the red highlighted tips on these.

I had to get out of my car again for this massive beauty. It was rather risky parking in some foreign neighborhood to take this picture but I couldn’t resist. I was hoping that no one thought I was photographing their home. I shot as quickly as I could so I could move on and was unable to get a full image of the tree. I’m sure you get the gist of it ;)

This was one of the shots I took while driving on the highway. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Call me crazy but I kept my eyes on the road. I was quite surprised I was able to get a clear enough shot this way.

I came to this building in order to take pictures of these gorgeous orange trees that I saw just days before. When I arrived back most of the leaves were already gone :(

I decided to get these pretty red ones while I was there...or at least passing by. I snapped these from the street as I drove by. There were no cars behind me so I was able to slow down and stop for a second to get it.

Admiring all of these colors reminded me of my crocheted hat and neck warmer set. The yarn I used is actually called Autumn! I look forward to wearing it when the weather gets really cold and crisp!
