Tree Tuesday - The Fallen Tree !!
There is this little cute park that is just beside the Skytrain station that i walk through every morning to catch my Skytrain to work.
Now this tree this morning was standing upright when i walked pass it this morning along that usual paved pathway i take every morning.
You see you never know your luck i walked right pass that tree this morning and i was spared to live another day to bring you this story. That day while i was at work we did have strong winds and heavy rains which would of contributed in bringing this tree down and also by the fact that the tree trunk was hollow , obviously been eaten away by tree bugs.
All i can say thank God no one was caught by this falling tree normally there are people sitting on them benches reading a book or sitting on the grass enjoying a conversation god there are people always walking in and out of this park it's the gateway to the Skytrain station.
At least the council people are on the job and cleaning the mess up there is nothing we can do to control mother nature and luckily no one was hurt.

Great photos. Lucky you were able to get the shots before your council finished clearing the tree away. Looks like they’d already made substantial progress with all the limbs cut away.

I cannot believe that empty space where the bugs decided to chow down on the poor tree. How lucky for you that you or anybody else that it didn't come down on you.
I actually know someone who got hit and killed by a falling tree. Seriously. You live dangerously, my friend. You really got some awesome shots and angles of the fallen beauty. I was amazed by how it came up, roots and all! Very shallow roots or did it cut the roots off when it fell?

Very lucky no one was sitting on that beach or walking pass this area is normally always busy it's funny how the God's work sometimes it could of been very dangerous move.
The roots look to tiny for that tree that must have dried up weaken with the unhealthiness of the tree been eaten away through the trunk.

How sad... death of a tree... Good thing no one was caught by it tumbling down...
