FREEHAND ART: Pencil Study - Human Form (~Debut Steemit Post!~)

Ultimately inspired, my artistic vision has resided within me since I can remember.
30 years into this experience, I am now beginning to hone relatively new skills that are expanding upon my methods of process, conveying emotional significance and the expression of personal aesthetic. Exclusively working by freehand drawing, there have been countless difficulties I've had to overcome within this discipline. My own belief is that there is an unmatched quality in freehand art that creates a most unique atmosphere, which makes the pursuit of this technique so personally gratifying. So it has been an extraordinary journey without the guidance of instruction!

Until this year, the majority of my style's influence has been derived through graphic-novel works. By way of personal turmoil & growth, my focus has now naturally shifted, as well as sharpened, to evolve my vantage point on the realm of art. As these studies develop, a new specific language of detail emerges from the blank work spaces before me.

Complexity in form and design has always instilled a sense of intimidation- like looking up from the base of a mountain, the step before the expedition begins. This is especially true in classical form. One must preserver and endure this meticulous route, as the satisfaction on completion of a project immensely outweighs all doubt. I now pursue such ambitions with an open mind and open arms!
