Ganesh Chaturthi is the hindu festival held on the birthday of lord Ganesha .He was the son of Shiva and parvati this is celebrated all over India. This year this fesival is started from 13/09/18. This festival is celebrated on the month of shukla chaturthi in the Hindu month of Bhaarapada ends on anant chaturdashi. On this occasion women make special sweeth called "Modak" which are loved by lord Ganesh

There are Ganesha form be like bal Ganesh ,labaugchya raja , siddhivinayak maharajand dhagru seth.
Ganesh chaturthi is also called vinayak chaturthi the pure hindu festival people pray lord Ganesh with devotion it is a festival of 10 days
In this ocassion people keeps ganesha clay idol privately at home or publicly on temporary stage
