I think we are working to something like this but it won’t be as we’ve seen in fiction! Having an excess of resources won’t solve much unless a change of mindset comes along with it because we would instead of living harmoniously have greed create disparity

I think the fundamental shift in thinking will be biggest obstacle we are so engrained in the current system most poeole won’t be able to handle concepts like universal basic income and being productive creatively or altruistically to further the species

A utopian society with people that still hold self preservation above all will struggle! Having all those resources will go a long way in helping educate people and break stereotypes for a percentage of the population but I’m not sure enough would be ready to let go of the status quo
