What Does Coherence Mean To Me? Tribesteemup QOTW Answered
When I envision the word coherence, what comes to mind first is being unified, working together towards the same end result, having all the pieces fit together with something running smooth and consistent.
WOW! That's a lot to do for that nine letter word!
Just like a puzzle.. all the pieces need to fit together to get to the same end result. If one piece of the puzzle, or in this instance; person, is out of order, not fitting into the appropriate place... you will never get to the end result in a timely fashion or in a civil way. Things (people) need to align and work together to get the task done.
That's not to say you can disagree with someone else or their planned idea on how to accomplish the task at-hand; but having different thoughts, opinions, view points and ideas is what we refer to as brainstorming. And brainstorming can have such positive results, I don't see why a group of people would dismiss another's thoughts. Some of the greatest inventions, ideas and advancements known to mankind have developed through brainstorm sessions.

People with similar goals, and even dreams, can work together to build the goal and accomplish what they have set forth to do.
One example that comes to mind are homesteaders; whether as a community living within the boundaries of land and property together building a colony or commonwealth or even just being close enough in a geographical area to lend support, a helping hand or bartering with one another.
Homesteaders, I have found, are a unique group of like-minded, goal-orientated people who want to be free. Free from debt. Free from strict government regulations. Free from financial institutions. Free from socialist thinking. Free to be themselves, live their lives how they choose and to have happier, more fulfilling lives.

Many, if not most, homesteaders thrive to life off-grid to some degree. They want to produce and provide their own food (ie. gardening, hunting, fishing, preserving). They do NOT want to be dependent upon government agencies and big chain stores and they surely do NOT want all the chemicals and additives slipped into their family's food supply.
Who Are The Antagonists Of Coherence?
In my mind.. it is the government, their agencies or any company (utility, financial) that more or less sticks their nose where it doesn't belong.
Case in example:
Less than four years ago, this Florida woman was living off-grid and didn't USE the city's independent water system or electrical grid so she refused to pay for something she wasn't using. Makes sense, right?
Well, it didn't make sense to Cape Coral's municipality. They took her to court after she hadn't been using the municipality's water and electric systems for over a year. In the end, she won the court case... but c'mon... really?
Here the local government agency was being an adversary and trying to get money from this woman; in the end, they lost. They (the local government) was trying to stop this woman's personal coherence to live her life.
She had a plan to live off-grid and not rely on others; and the others didn't like it much, so they sued her (which to me is just the same as trying to breakdown her structured living and coherent lifestyle that she had built).

howdy today @goldendawne! the ladies' case is a great example of why we want to live off grid! and they want to make it a criminal offense to not have to pay for their outrageous fees and control in that part of our lives, amazing. greedy money sucking control freaks.

NO matter how hard we try there will always be some agency butting in to our business. The best we can do is lay low, do our thing and keep to ourselves- which I do try to do most of the time.

Agree..... In this 'Day n Age' people just want to be left alone to live how they want to live... I think we can all appreciate that we will never get away from some form of tax, but the intrusion of Governmental departments are ridiculous.
The Government Bend-over backwards for vairous factions in order that they are not offended, I say how about they bend over backwards for some of our autonomy.
OH yes! I know I do. I don't bother people, I keep to myself, and I'm even a aw-abiding citizen. But still...
