Weekly Tech Article #13 The Ion Power Group Capturing Ionic Energy from the Atmosphere
Good Evening my Fellow Steemians!
This is a technology I have been excited to share for a while! Drum roll please/............. :) Tonight I bring you another article that explains a technology and my understanding of it that will manifest abundance for humanity. I researched some folks called the Ion Power Group https://ionpowergroup.com/how-it-works-on-earth/ a while ago that have been building and experimenting with a system to capture voltage potential and ionic charged particles that exists as you climb in elevation from the earths surface.
How are they capturing the particles? Could you produce power this way 24/7 365 days of the year? I believe so!
The amount of cosmic particles we receive on earth every day is tremendous. We are constantly bathed in galactic cosmic rays.
Here is a photo of part of their apparatus which is from what I understand to be carbon fibers.
Why carbon fiber? From what I understand the carbon fibers have very sharp points on the ends of the fiber which allow for particles to be drawn in and conducted to their standard copper wire conductor where they will collect the energy gathered on the ground. Electric fields are known to gather around conductive points which is known as the "Corona Effect" These carbon/graphite/graphene type fibers allow for millions of conductive sharp points where charge can be attracted to. This type of energy collection could really only occur in this age with our ability to carbonize and graphitize fibers.
Here is some of the data from their research on how much more effective the carbon fiber materials are and collecting this energy compared to other conductors.
The Following are some photo's which demonstrate how they collect the energy harvested at a ground base station. The energy conducted is used to charge a bank of large capacitors. These can quickly build up charge and be discharged to run a load.

Here is a concept for a utility atmospheric energy station.
Using Atmospheric energy collection we could harvest the latent energy that exists in our atmosphere effectively and efficiently 24/7 365 days a year. This technology could also be deployed on any other planet that has an atmosphere!
