Welcome to the 4th day of these nine days of connection with Shakti in yourself.

We have completed our three days of transformation under the guidance of Kali Ma! Now it's time for nourishment and abundance, to fill the void that has been left after our clearing! We honour Lakshmi Ma as the second face of Goddess Durga or second aspect of Shakti. The form of Lakshmi that we honour today is Ma Kushmanda.

Her name means ‘the cosmic egg’ and it is said that before creation when everything was dark, ma Kushmanda smiled like a flower opening from a bud and brought the light and created the universe. Therefore she is called Adiswarupand Adishakti.

Maa Kushmanda reigns in the Anahata Chakra. Maa Kushmanda helps you to become healthy and wealthy. She removes all obstacles from your life and helps you to release all sorrows. Maa brings the light into the darkness and gives harmony.

I want to invite you today to find out for yourself what you need, what could nourish your personal intention for these nine days. And to try to create that for yourself today. Suppose your need is 'relaxation', plan space for a bath today. Say it is 'enjoying', treat yourself to a nice pastry or a cuddle with the cat.

Today I invite you to:

• Keep your candle in your bowl burning as much as possible, so that the energy that comes will benefit your own Shakti fire.
• 3x OM and 21 x OM DUM DURGAYA NAMAHA sing.
• Do your Navratri meditation and place extra emphasis on surrender to abundance.
• Make an extra prayer for your own well-being and that of your family.
