Trippy Thursday - pulsing colors - Easy way how to make spectacular trippy gif animation
This is a gif that was created of my three abstract DaDa drawings linked together, inspired by chaotic vision of paint pouring. Well, i went out of cheap canvases and cannot continue it physically for a while, so i turned to digital technique.
How was it made?
Of course, first, i drew my abstracts, i didn't use any transparency on black background.
Then i've put them together with Gimp:
I applied some hue-shift:
Then i went to http//:gifmaker.org, then uploaded my hue-shifted pictures and the original one (trippy-trippy08), so i got 9 frames:
I resized the gif - smaller is better:
Here are the frames - you can delete or duplicate some of them if needed:
Then i pressed "Create animation" button and "Download gif":
The result is here.
I've uploaded the gif to http://giphy.com, copied the link of it, then pasted here.

this looks so difficult, that it works for me demotivating to start with it, although I do love yours! Is it also possible to let the colour stream go slower? Because of your drawing, I am thinking of the blood flow in a human body. heart red till the lungs than blue to become red again at the heart.
Well, this is only an example. You can make it slower :) The human organ metaphor is very good! :)
This is so cool!!
Thank you dear Luz!
Loved the process and the result!
The original drawing had beautiful colours and so did the gif. You explained so well the steps I feel like trying to make one.

Well, try it, it doesn't need any skills :)
