In every city that we visited, we would head to their Archaelogoical Sites and museum to get some glimpses of Anatolian Civilization.
How to get to Konya Archaeological Site
You can locate the archaeological site off the downtown area near the Sahibiata Mahallesi area.
There is a big sign there starring at you, so you can't miss it.
This Archaelogical site is a gem
Even if you only have 2 hours left in your schedule, this archaelogical site is a gem.
If you are into history like me, you will find that this museum displays a lot of the important history of Turkey particularly during the Roman era.
And the great treasure is that you will see the Catalhoyuk excavation which takes you back to Neolithic Times.
I didn't know Konya dates back to such an early time.
Such treasure.
