Steem Monsters Gold Announced!! How Do I Expect it To Affect Prices?
Thought your cards were valuable, huh? Now they're even more valuable if you get the new gold cards in SM!!
I'm really excited about this one and it really takes me back to those old Pokemon days!! Steem Monsters just announced the addition of Gold (more rare version of regular) cards. I haven't checked the discord to see what these are going for, but I imagine that they're pretty valuable!!
Even more exciting is that SM will backdate any packs you've already opened. So if you've opened a few dozen packs then go check out your collection right now because you probably have some gold cards already!!
They also announced in the blog that they're working hard and are focused on the addition of battling capabilities which is really exciting stuff!!
Still, I'm having fun just collecting these puppies, but once we can start battling we'll see a lot more adoption and excitement on top of the collecting aspect.
There was also a previous post discussing stats on the cards. I'm thinking about making a post of my own with my thoughts on how stats should work in the game.
