Desmond my friend, is a skilled building engineer. I have known him for years now.He has never disappointed his client. Infact he got building contract upon contracts all because of his efficiency, keeping to his words and delivering his job as agreed.

He found himself in prison all because he recommended a painter,to a site he just concluded. His client, Mr Christopher pleaded with him,to assist him,in getting a painter to paint and design the just concluded project and Desmond recommended a painter, by the name Akeem.

Akeem has been the painter Desmond has been using for years and he has never been found wanting. He was so diligent in his work which endears Desmond to him all this while.
So Mr Christopher and Akeem,entered into a contract and agreement of painting his Dublex with a total sum of 800,000:00(Eight Hundred Thousand Naira)only.And initial deposit of 600,000;00(Six Hundred Thousand Naira)only,was transferred into Akeem's Bank account.The contract, was to commenced and climax within the stipulated period of one month as agreed by both parties.

Two weeks into the painting, Mr Akeem pulled a call to Mr Christopher, notifying him of his balance as the job is next to completion.Fortunately for Mr Christopher, Desmond was with him when the call came and unfortunately for Desmond, that call was the beginning of his problems. Mr Christopher told Desmond that he cannot do transfer but he has with him in his car,the sum of 100,000:00(Hundred Thousand Naira) only in his car,that he should assist him in giving it to Akeem.Although Desmond protested against it but after much pleadings from Mr Christopher, he then accepted to give the money to Akeem.

He called Akeem to come get his money which was the next day.Akeem collected the money from Desmond. Instead of proceeding to the site,he traveled with the money,feigning an excuse that his mother was hospitalized, diagozied of stroke thereby abandoning the job.At expiration of the agreement, Mr Christopher went to inspect the site. Much to his amazement,the job was halfway done and Akeem was no were to be found.All efforts to reacn him on phone,proved abortive.In that anger,he called and deceived Desmond to come see him in a restaurant he and his friends were reclining. Desmond came,after the unwinding,Mr Christopher told Desmond of his friend's site that needs maintainance.unknowingly to Desmond, that it was only a gimmick to hand him over to the law enforcement agency, whom he has abinitio,put down his statement.So Desmond sheepishly entered the car ignorant of the fact that the two other guys were policemen.

It only dawned on him,when Mr Christopher drove into the Police Station and those two Policemen gallantly jumed down brought out their pistols and ordered Desmond to march straight to the canter and the rest was history as we know police and their antics.

He was later taken on bail but asked to provide and surrounder Akeem within a period of five days.All efforts to get Akeem failed.
Desmond was arrested again and charged to a magistrate court with a charge of "Advance Free Fraud" which according to the magistrate, has no jurisdiction to entertain the charge but has the right to remind him in Prison Custody of which he did pending the advice,from the Directorate of Public Prosecution. My friend Desmond is cooling off now in prison under the claws of notorious criminals. So saddling.
