US President Donald Trump has criticized his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, amid media reports from the US that he had secretly recorded a conversation in which they discussed paying money to a former playboy.

The records are reported to have been discovered during a FBI raid on a Kohin property in New York earlier this year.

In a tweet on Twitter, Trump said a lawyer signing a conversation with a client was "unheard of and possibly illegal"

The President also insisted that he had not committed any offense.

"Secret Registration of Strump" about paying money to a casual at Playboy
Who is Karin McDougall, the hero of "The Secret Record" of Trump?
The New York Times reported that Trump and his lawyer discussed during the recording of the conversation the payment of money to former exhibitor Karen McDougall, who claims to have an affair with Trump.

According to reports, the conversation was recorded two months before the presidential election in 2016, and Trump was brought to the post of president of the United States.

what is the story?

The US Department of Justice has been investigating allegations that money had been paid to women in exchange for their silence on allegations of sexual relations with Trump.

Cohen, who has not yet been charged, is under investigation for charges related to tax and bank fraud, as well as possible violations of the electoral law.

"It's enough to say that when you hear the recording, Mr. Cohen will not be harmed," Cohen said in a brief statement yesterday.

Prior to the 2016 presidential election, McDougall sold her story to the American National Inquirer, owned by a personal friend of Trump.

McDougall says a $ 150,000 agreement stipulates that the newspaper has the right to the story and that the former exhibitor can not speak publicly about the alleged relationship. But the newspaper did not publish the story, which McDougall says was a hoax.

Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, told the New York Times that his client and Cohen discussed the recorded conversation with McDougall.

But he added that the payment process had never taken place, describing the registration itself as "a strong patent evidence."

Later, he told the newspaper that the two men discussed paying the Enquirer for the rights of the story, paying the same amount as the newspaper paid to McDougall.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the September 2016 conversation took place face to face and not over the phone, and that the recording was cut in less than two minutes.

It is reported that federal investigators have asked National Enquirer to register money for McDougall.

How was Trump's reply?
McDougall says she had a 10-month affair with Trump in 2006, a year after he married his current wife Melania.

When asked about these allegations, Trump denied the relationship with McDougall and said he was not aware of any payment.

In May, Trump admitted that he had paid Cohen for the money he had paid to another woman to buy her silence over allegations of another relationship.

Earlier, Trump denied knowing how to pay $ 130,000 to porn star, Stormy Daniels, as part of an agreement against her silence.

Daniels says she and Trump had sex in a hotel room in Lake Tahoe, a California-Nevada resort, in 2006.

Silence agreements of this kind, which Daniels and McDougall claim, are legal in themselves.

But it is a possible problem for Trump because the failure to disclose money to hide embarrassing stories about a political candidate could be treated as a violation of US campaign funding laws.
