ENERGY CEO'S OF U.S URGE TRUMP TO FUND - PORT OF CORPUS CHRISTI DREDGING
The CEO's of six majorly known American energy companies signed a letter addressed to president Donald Trump in support of the CORPUS CHRISTI SHIP channel improvement project.
The ship channel improvement project will widen the corpus christi ship channel to 530 feet, plus additional barge shelves to allow for two way vessel and barge traffic.
The port corpus christi and U.S Army corps of engineers signed a project partnership agreement for the project october 2017, but as of now the project still lacks the required fund needed to kick start the project.
The letter request funding for the United State Army Corps of engineers to deepen and widen the port in an effort to meet surging global demand for U.S produced oil and natural gas.
