Hi buckaroo. Thanks for highlighting this. Did a post the other day but didn't go into all the details but an overview of the basics.
Think it's time people hear what's really going on @cryptoandcoffee. Sorry I missed yours. I've actually been cutting back on my steemit time but going to check yours out quickly
No stress. Time is something we don't ll have and on a farm you will have more chores than most. I don't quite know what to make of it at the moment but could go either way. it could be a smoke screen to get them the election result they need next year or it is another Zimbabwe. Either way there is going to be chaos and resentment. It is total racialism in reverse and there is no need for it. There is enough land that can be used but that would mean starting from scratch. Rather take over a productive farm with all the implements already done for you. They will just wreck it anyway and will only create food shortages and the economy will nose dive. The economy is already struggling as most won't admit it but we are in a recession.

@lynncoyle1 - SORRY - this depressing news is probably not at all your interest or what you need, but how would you suggest I get more coverage? I find it sad and alarming that so many people overseas are oblivious (or virtually so) to the actual crisis here

I know that curie doesn't upvote political posts, but I'm not sure about c-squared. I'm also a member of newbieresteemday, and although your rep is a bit higher than normal, I can resteem this under their name as well; once I do that though, I can't resteem it under my own name, but more would see it under their resteem anyway.
Truthfully, I've buried my head in the sand lately regarding world news, but this is totally new to me regardless. I was just telling Brian about it as well, and he had no idea either.
@jaynie, @buckaroo is one of my fave's here, always writing such great posts. I wonder if she'd be a candidate for @steemitbloggers?

Thank you very much @lynncoyle. I simply don't have time to interact with the necessary groups on Discord (still haven't joined). Like you I don't have too much interest in world news (or local actually it's too scary) . My husband is part of many safety groups and gets the information that is otherwise suppressed. He's been filling me in on a bit and when I heard about the old age home I thought I had to write a post as the world is mostly in ignorance.

@buckaroo & @lynncoyle1 You both speak so much truth here. The media is a joke as are most governments. There is a comment above regarding the government military and situations like these are why citizen militias are so important. The US is going through tumultuous times as well, although nothing like what you're experiencing yet. I pray for your safety.
Btw, if you ever do make it over to Discord, the @steemitmamas would love to have you. We've talked about you quite a bit. 😉 I think you'd enjoy the laid-back supportive community.
