Técnica Palm Mute para guitarra (Video Tutorial) by @leomolina
El Palm Mute es una técnica comúnmente utilizada en la guitarra eléctrica con distorsión, y es realizado apoyando la mano que lleva la púa (pajuela) en el puente de la guitarra. Esto produce un sonido apagado de las cuerdas. La mano correspondiente al mástil de la guitarra termina de silenciar completamente el sonido cuando lo amerite la canción.
El Palm Mute es una técnica estándar en los guitarristas que tocan con púa y frecuentemente usado en estilos como heavy metal, thrash metal, speed metal y death metal.
En las partituras, el Palm Mute está representado generalmente por la notación "PM ó P.M.".

The Palm Mute is a technique commonly used in electric guitar with distortion and is done by supporting the hand that carries the pick on the bridge of the guitar. This produces a muffled sound of the strings. The hand corresponding to the neck of the guitar ends silencing the sound completely when the song justifies it.
Palm Mute is a standard technique for guitarists who play with pick and is often used in styles such as heavy metal, thrash metal, speed metal and death metal.
In the tabs, the Palm Mute is usually represented by the notation "PM or P.M.".
