Its pretty omoshiroi since its kinda fresh doing this easyflash thing running stuff from rom and ram and fast switching but in the end doing the inventory and items is more like SQL64 lol ... fixed size records because at 8 bit you dont get too many options for delimiters and also the speed of access, on the jag all 50 levels are variable sized with delimiters but i can use large numbers or negatives which i otherwise never would during the play or levelbuild and going over the whole thing takes no time at all even by lvl 50 ... on the C64 having it point straight at the right address because the index leads to a fixed sized record seems like the better way to go in this case.
