A buy limit order allows making an order for buying at the price the trader wants. In this case, the trader has to wait for an opposite sell order.
The limit orders usage gives the trader significant trade advantages. Working with postponed limit orders allows the trader to save time without waiting for the right price on the market. In addition, limit orders reduce the risk of slipping, that is, guarantee the exact execution at the price specified in the order.
Sometimes it can take a very long time to execute the order, and even in general, it may not be fulfilled. In this case, it will be necessary to remove this order and create a new one at a price that will be more realistic to the situation on the market.
In order to create a buy limit order, go to the section “Buy&Sell”, near the trading chart (for desktop – on the right, for mobile – below) click on the ”Market” tab and choose the pair you are interested in. Then select ”Limit” type of order.
In the form for buying, enter the price in the field ”Price” at which you are ready to buy the given coin and select the amount. The ”Total” field will automatically calculate the amount that will be charged from your account after clicking the ”Buy” button. Additionally, a commission of 0.1% of the transaction amount will be paid. If you enable the C24 function to pay fees, you will pay a commission with a 50% discount, namely the commission will be 0.05% instead of 0.1% and will be withdrawn in C24 currency.
If in the sell order book (in the sell order table) there is no order with your price or with a better (lower) price that you offer at the time of creating your order for buying, the order you created will get into the buy order book.
Please note: if the C24 function to pay fees is enabled, when the order is being created, a commission of 0.1% of the transaction amount will be blocked in the trading currency. And as soon as the order is completed, a commission of 0.1% of the transaction amount will be refunded, and the commission of 0.05% will be withdrawn in the C24 currency.
Until the execution of this order, the withdrawn amount will be transferred from the available balance to the orders, and the available balance will be reduced by the amount that is in the orders.
Another way using which you can instantly buy currency is the way when you choose the ”Limit” type of order, which is on the “Buy&Sell”page, click on the line with the order in the sell order book (the top line contains the best price for the sale) and choose ”Amount” in the ”Buy” form. The ”Total” field will automatically calculate the amount that will be charged from your account after clicking the ”Buy” button. Additionally, a commission of 0.1% of the transaction amount will be paid. If you enable the C24 function to pay fees, you will pay a commission with a 50% discount, namely the commission will be 0.05% instead of 0.1% and will be withdrawn in C24 currency.
If the opposite sell order is lower than desired one you can choose the next order at a better price.
The bought currency will be sent to your balance instantaneously, but only in that case when the opposite sell order has not been executed by another trader before the click on a button.
You can see all the information about the balance in the “Balances” section (go to the ”Funds” section from the attached menu at the top of the page (header) and select ”Balances”), namely: the total balance, the available balance and the amount in the orders.
In the “Open Orders” section you can trace all information about open orders (on the ”Buy&Sell” page near the order books) or go to the ”Orders” section at the attached menu at the top of the page (header) and select ”Open Orders”.
If the order is executed, the order information will be moved from the ”Open Orders” to “My Orders History”, which is located on the ”Buy&Sell” page near the order books, or go to the ”Orders” section from the attached menu at the top of the page (header) and select ”Order History”.

Лімітний ордер на купівлю дозволяє виставити на купівлю ордер по тій ціні, яку захоче трейдер. В цьому випадку залишається лише чекати зустрічного ордеру на продаж.
Використання лімітних ордерів дає трейдеру суттєві переваги в торгівлі. Робота з відкладеними лімітними ордерами дозволяє трейдеру економити свій час, не чекаючи потрібної ціни на ринку. Крім того, лімітні ордери зменшують ризик ковзання, тобто гарантують точне виконання за ціною, вказаною в ордері.
Інколи на виконання ордеру можна чекати дуже довго, а то й взагалі він може не виконатись. В такому випадку необхідно буде видалити даний ордер і створити новий по ціні, яка буде більш реалістичною до ситуації на ринку.
Для того, щоб створити лімітний ордер на купівлю необхідно зайти в розділ “Торги”, біля графіка торгів натиснути на вкладку “Ринок” та обрати пару, яка Вас цікавить. Далі обрати “Лімітний” тип ордеру.
У формі на купівлю в полі “Ціна” ввести ціну, за яку Ви готові купити дану монету та обрати кількість. У полі “Разом” автоматично буде розрахована сума, яка у Вас буде знята з Вашого рахунку після того, як натиснете “Купити”. Додатково буде знято комісію, яка складає 0,1% від суми операції. У разі увімкнення функції використання C24 для оплати комісії, Ви будете сплачувати комісію з 50% знижкою, а саме комісія буде 0,05%, а не 0,1% і зніметься у валюті С24.
Якщо в стакані на продаж (в таблиці з ордерами на продаж) на момент створення Вашого ордеру на купівлю не виявиться ордеру по ціні кращій (нищій) тієї, яку пропонуєте Ви або ж по Вашій ціні, то створений Вами ордер потрапить в стакан на купівлю.
Зверніть увагу, що у разі увімкненої функції використання С24 для оплати комісії, на момент створення ордеру, з Вас зніметься комісія у розмірі 0,1% від суми операції у валюті здійснення операції. І як тільки ордер буде виконано, Вам буде повернено 0,1% комісії, заблокованої у валюті здійснення операції, і буде знято комісію у розмірі 0,05% у валюті С24.
До виконання даного ордеру знята сума буде переміщена з доступного залишку в ордера, і сума доступного залишку зменшиться на суму, що в ордерах.
Ще одним способом купівлі, при якому Ви можете миттєво купити валюту, є спосіб, при якому необхідно обрати “Лімітний” тип ордеру, що на сторінці “Торги”, натиснути на рядок з ордером в стакані на продаж (верхній рядок містить найкращу ціну на продаж) і у формі “Купити” вибрати кількість. У полі “Разом” автоматично буде розрахована сума, яка у Вас буде знята з Вашого рахунку після того, як натиснете “Купити”. Додатково буде знято комісію, яка складає 0,1% від суми операції. У разі увімкнення функції використання C24 для оплати комісії, Ви будете сплачувати комісію з 50% знижкою, а саме комісія буде 0,05%, а не 0,1% і зніметься у валюті С24.
Якщо зустрічний ордер на продаж менший за бажаний, то Ви можете обрати наступний ордер по кращій ціні продажу.
Куплена валюта надійде Вам на баланс миттєво, але у випадку, якщо до того, як Ви натиснули на кнопку, зустрічна заявка на продаж не була виконана іншим учасником торгів.
Всю інформацію по балансу Ви можете простежити в розділі “Баланс” (перейти у розділ “Активи” із закріпленої вгорі панелі меню (Header) та обрати “Баланс”), а саме: загальний баланс, доступний залишок та сума, що знаходиться в ордерах.
У розділі “Відкриті ордери” Ви можете простежити всю інформацію по відкритим ордерам (на сторінці “Торги” біля стаканів або ж перейти у розділ “Ордери” із закріпленої вгорі панелі меню (Header) та обрати “Відкриті ордери”).
Якщо ордер буде виконано, то інформація про даний ордер переміститься з “Відкритих ордерів” в “Мою історію ордерів”, яка знаходиться на сторінці “Торги” біля стаканів або ж перейти у розділ “Ордери” із закріпленої вгорі панелі меню (Header) та обрати “Історія ордерів”.
