Mobile-App #01 You can build your own mobile app without coding

I was in the mobile app workshop on 10 July 2018. There were 20 adult participants from a local college attend the 2 days build your own mobile app workshop.

You may wonder how on earth one can be able to build and publish a mobile application to google play store in two days. And most of the participants have no knowledge of Mobile application technology.

Well, as the technology advances, build a simple yet functional mobile app can be your dream come true if you have a hobby, interest or a small startup business. And you want to put these into a mobile application such that you can share them in Google play store.

You may be aware that once your mobile app is published and available in the Google play store, your app has the exposure to thousands of mobile app searchers and may attract their attention to download your app.

In the early years, to build a mobile application, you need to depend on programmers who are trained in mobile app coding. And depending on the complexity of your requirement, it may take months to build a mobile application to meet your needs. And certainly, you have to pay a professional fee too.

The Learn-and-build-yourself mobile app is simplest and it does not need any coding knowledge though it is an advantage. The technology is dependent on server-based mobile app builder. It is an online builder that deploy the concept of pick and drop templates. Since it is a template approach, the design of it has to base on the available template. Nevertheless, the availability of the common templates is good enough for the first time mobile app Builder.

Some of the distinct advantages of using server-based app builders are as follows:-

2. ready-made samples of layout designs
3. choices of ready-made features for quick prototype or testing
4. ComMon features are available
5. Auto synchronization of minor changes to the content of the completed app
6. Self-control of the application for changes
7. Cost saving

There are a couple of Disadvantages using a server-based as below:-
