Round 1

Marion pushes her back to the cage and i s controlling the clinch landing a few punches and knees. Marion jumps guard and Cat slams her to the mat. Cat allows her back up. This is interesting as Marion is clearly the more technical striker. Less than a minute left and they exchange some punches and Marion pushes her to the cage. Cat takes her down again with ease.

Marion starts the round landing a barrage of punches and Cat takes her down again easily. Cat is in Marion's guard. Cat lets her stand up again. Cat lands a hard leg kick that wobbles Marion. Cat takes her down again and is in guard. Marion is playing way too loose which is allowing Cat to ground and pound. Cat lets her up again and eats a punch.

2:00 minutes left. Cat gets double unders but Marion shakes off the takedown. Marion lands a left hook. Cat returns with a leg kick. Cat takes her down again with 1:00 minute left. Marion has a small cut on the side of her right eye.

Cat opens the round with a solid jab. Cat dumps her with a single leg and ends up in north south. Marion turtles. Cat stays in the front position when she goes to her back Marion spins and regains closed guard. That takedown puts Cat in the record book with the most takedowns in a Women's Bantamweight fight. Under a minute to go and they are still in closed guard. Marion is just holding on not trying to do anything.
