GSP vs. Diaz @ 155 lbs -- BREAKING NEWS !
Dana white confirms that the UFC is working on a GSP vs Nate Diaz fight at 155lbs. Yes I said Nate Diaz and not Nick Diaz and YES I sad at 155lbs.
This fight being at 155 lbs is the only advantage I see Nate Diaz having. I think GSP beats Nate rather easily if this was at 170 lbs and still likely will do so at 155 lbs as well. The winner will almost certainly fight for the 155 lb belt. If GSP can make the cut to 155lbs he will likely become the first ever three division UFC Champion.
What do you think of this fight ? Who takes it and how ?
It's good to see Nate back in action and GSP also entering the 155lb division.
Personally don't think Nate has a shot but who knows?
I tend to agree. I think GSP beats Nate rather easily.
Then again this is MMA and allot of crazier things have happened.

Oh my god, I really hope it doesn't happen. If they want to give GSP a warm up fight at 155 I'd love to see him against someone who deserves this honor and someone who actually got more than a tiny tiny chance to win and that guy is Eddie Alvarez. I love Nate but come on....

You hit the nail on the head. GSP has said many times he believes he can make 155 lbs. I believe it's possible but it would be a very very hard cut. I can only imagine what his physical appearance would look like. And with such a big cut .. how will GSP perform ? Also, the last time Nate Diaz fought at 155 lbs was in 2015.
Conspiracy theory time ......
There are / were rumors of UFC creating a 160 lb division. This fight might be an introduction to that division. Either that or this fight happens at a catch weight or 170 lbs. Winner fights Conor in a MEGA Fight !
It would take another year for GSP to make weight at 155, he is a smart fighter , he said it himself that it took him some time to gain weight correctly for middle weight.The same apply to lose some.
