In the Northwestern US. A long stones toss from your neck of the woods. Though I suppose it depends on which way you throw it.

Ah. I know that part of the world @ddschteinn. There are some beautiful places there. I lived in Seattle for a while. A long time ago. 😁

I have always loved Seattle. Such a progressive, fun place. I almost moved there years ago, but instead headed for Idaho. Seattle has so much going on, though it is now, sadly, quite congested with traffic. That and Portland. I suppose that's what happens when you have a 'curvy' city (roads), and nowhere else to go. The people kind of stack up on one another.

I was there just before it was announced as 'the' place to live in The States and house prices shot up. Traffic was beginning to be a problem so they built the second bridge which, if I remember rightly, didn't help much. 😂

Portland remained an "unknown" for a good few years after that though.

I had a couple of hours in Settle a few years ago, between flights, and it had changed quite a bit. A lot of my favourite eating places are now chains and Pike Place had become one big tourist trap.

It's in such a brilliant location though. South down the coast, out the the Olympic National Park, skiing just for the day if you want, the islands, up to Canada.

But the you have to deal with the weather. I was find with it but I know a lot of my friends who weren't local hated it. 😂
