Schumer on the Ukraine aid bill.

First series of votes on the bill will occur on Tuesday afternoon. The main one to watch is the cloture vote. It will require 60 votes. We should have final passage of Ukraine aid by the end of week.

I don't think there should be any surprises at this point. The original Senate Ukraine foreign aid bill passed comfortably in February. The only major difference between the two bills is this will include the forced TikTok divesture and seizure of Russian assets to rebuild Ukraine bill along with the three aid bills for Ukraine, Israel and Gaza, and Taiwan.

The Ukraine portion of the aid is largely the same aside from Trump's stupid "loan" idea (functionally this doesn't really change things) and a few other minor additions.

So it should pass easily once cloture is invoked on filibusters.

Once it is passed and signed by Biden, military aid should get to Ukraine fairly quickly.
