My #Day3 #Ulog Entry, A Superlative Teardrops Analogy

So today was my brother's house opening ceremony. It was so much fun and joy for so many reasons which I will take out time to explain.

The testimony you are about to read should encourage you who is reading this post right now to be focused and courageous in all you do.

Samuel my friend met his wife as far back 2001, then he was just an apprentice with a patent medicine shop owner where he used to sleep in the shop every after each day's sales.

He was very faithful and devoted to his boss then and served him diligently for many years. In 2009, he was able to raise some money of his own, about 100,000 Nigerian naira. Guess what he did with the money? He opened a medicine shop for his wife who had stood by him through thick and thin.

A year later, he started his own medicine business too, things began to flourish gradually. Then in 2011 he got married to his betrothed of over 10 years, oh my goodness! What a sweet story!!

Now back to the house dedication and opening ceremony, you wouldn't believe this house was built and completed in few months. Not even up to a year!

He had gotten the plot of land early last year and by August the foundation laying was done, today is 14th May, about 9 months.

What is even more exciting is the fact that Samuel is a university Student studying pharmacy, so this house is nothing but a big testimony.

We arrived Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area, Alderton Road, address of the new house by exactly 8:15am, there was so much work going on, from tile scrubbing to those cooking for visitors and well wishers. My nostrils romanced with elevated joy, the romantic scents of various meals gallivanting round the surrounding atmosphere.

Finally, the house dedication began at 10:45am by Rev. Father Reginald Ebebe, a dedication mass was observed and prayers conducted round the whole compound. It was so much joy that the man who once slept in a shop now lives in a mansion .

What a life!
