ULOG: 11 "Demonstration for Demand UMB Chancellor Baubau Backwards is chaotic, Nearly Shoots Out"

Student demonstrations demanded the Chancellor of Buton Muhamadiyah University (UMB) in Baubau City, Southeast Sulawesi (Southeast Sulawesi) to take place in a chaotic manner on Thursday (09/13/2018). Protesters and the campus were almost involved in fist fights.
Unrest occurred when students acting in the name of Galang Left Thinker Student Movement (GMPK) gave speeches in front of the UMB Rector's office. Initially the students gave a smooth speech, but eventually the campus felt disturbed. Finally a number of people from the campus came out and requested that the action be stopped.
Because the action still took place there was chaos between the protesters and the campus which led to fist fights. Luckily this action did not spread and was quickly divorced by police officers who carried out security. The police finally broke up the student protests.
"Student demonstrations have not taken place this time. This kind of action has been done many times to demand that UMB Chancellor resign," said one of the protesters, Fando after giving speeches.
According to him, students asked the UMB Chancellor, Suriadi to resign from his position because he had the status of suspect for the past two years. The Chancellor was allegedly involved in cases of embezzlement of campus funds and Umrah funds.
Meanwhile, the campus is still reluctant to be questioned about the student's actions.
