Ulog 024: Something big coming tomorrow

As I have shared with you guys in the last seven weeks ago, I had been in quite an intense project, and the result will come out tomorrow.

Well, I have shared, I'm all in for the result. No matter if it is good or not, I have achieved one of the states that I haven't got before: The state of "try my best and embrace the result."

In the past, I used to try my best and try to beat everyone in any competition. Time flew, and later on, I have realized that it was not always about winning. I have learned that we need to improve myself for each time of trial and become better in the future.

Interview coming up

Tomorrow I will have a short interview with a new intern, who was introduced to me by a colleague. This guy is bright and seems to be quite enthusiastic about the challenge. Honestly, I do not prefer ones with significant experience, I would prefer to those who have a right mindset and ability to learn, adapt and improve in the future more.

Meeting with an old colleague

It has been a while to work with her, a colleague in the HR department. After she left the company, she joined the insurance industry as a recruiter. Tomorrow I will have a small meeting with her and learn more about the insurance industry in Vietnam. Surprisingly she is living near my house, so a nearby coffee shop is the best.

One of the most misconceptions in Vietnam is that people think insurance is something terrible. They said that insurance is just a scam that makes people money. However, after some decent knowledge about insurance, I entirely on the support side of the insurance for the future.
