Today, June 04, 2018, the public elementary and high schools in the Philippines opens the new school year. It always excites me to see again the students and my colleagues - old and new.

These are my students in Technical Drafting 10. It is always fun to see them because I have already established a good relationship with them. However, they are not complete today because of absences, and I also failed two of their classmates last school year for a valid reason.

Today, we only tackled about our class rules, subject overview and the requirements. That is normally what happens in the first day of my class. Here are the list of my class rules, the subject overview and the requirements.

Class Rules

1. Clean as you work. Clean as you go.
2. Pass your projects on time.
3. Minimize being absent and late in the class.
4. Never cut classes
5. Follow school policies on wearing uniforms, accessories, haircut and make-up.
6. Respect one another.

Incident Reports

Failure to follow the rules being set, the students should submit a report to the office.

1. 3rd Incident Report- Parents should come to school for follow-up and questioning.
2. 6th Incident Report - Students shoud render a three-hour community service e.g. cleanliness of the restroom.

Class Advisory

I am very happy because I still have an advisory class to look into. Although, it entails a lot of direct problems, but I really enjoy being an adviser.
