The best way to reverse the effect is to create positive feelings. Instead of thinking too much of bad things, channel your thoughts to what makes you happy.

Whatever goal we have in life always think positively. Every day carry its own challenges and we need to focus our thoughts on positive feelings and actions. Hurdles and trials are always there to disrupt our momentum in doing things right, but you focus on the positive aspect of what you are doing, there are only small chance of failure. Positive thoughts and feelings create a positive energy that produces positive result. Positive people always end up victorious. Don’t doubt that you can do it. You need to condition your thoughts that the task is already done with great result.
When you think negatively, the battle is already a failure from the start. Our mind is powerful to accomplich the impossible. It only needs you to tap the power of your mind. Think positive everytime and gain success all the time.
