Ants are known to be industrious and hardworking. The colony is always preparing and saving food for the rainy days.
We, humans must work and save like this insect do. They work hard in the sunny days and save all their hard earn food for the rainy days to come. There are only few people doing this, mostly they are the rich people. Common employees seldom make savings for themselves. They might be using a wrong formula in the computation that’s why they were not able to save anything or even a penny.
If you want to save, what you need to do is to hold your earnings first. Then deduct the amount you want to save for that particular period and then allocate your expenses. The saving should be deducted first before the expenses. You’ll be adjusting your expenses that will fit to the remaining cash you hold.
Saving takes a lot of discipline in our part because whenever need arises you’ll be tempted to spend your savings. Have the courage to deny yourself of spending your hard earned savings. In addition, your saving must suit your goal. There should always a reason for saving and you need to purse that with corresponding timeline to achieve it.
Saving without purpose won’t give you enough motivation to do it. The purpose will give meaning to what you are doing. It’s better to save money to buy a house and lot than to get it on installment. Your money can earn income by saving in a bank than paying the amortization that carry interest.
Be wise on using money, don’t be an impulsive buyer. Always think your money is important.
