#Ulog Day 4: HOW I CAME OUT STRONG FROM MY RECENT UNIQUE CHALLENGE… (Bouncing back!)

in #ulog6 years ago

Life is beautiful and oftentimes unique and seemingly life-threatening challenges surface in our paths as we journey through life, and in most cases, the pain of experiencing such make us feel all hope is gone— as though our breakthrough is taking a pretty long time to occur. As you know, these challenges can be health-wise, financial, or as the case may be.

(I promised to create this post 2 days ago in my blog titled "Relax For Easy Power".)

My Recent Unique Challenge, and it's Genesis.

Five days ago, I did observe a funny reaction around my left eye; a slight feeling of pain I could barely describe in a superb manner. But I supposedly knew it was a sensation of an impending challenge, which I couldn't remember the last time I experienced it— having a boil — one in the eye region of the body.

(I took this photograph on Tuesday morning in my room… the outlook of my face scared me.)

Initially, It was so very mild, however, discomforting that I thought it would naturally disappear the following day. But it didn't! It came out in a very 'friendly' way that it allowed me to still work on my PC— create my own blog post, and of course, to read some very interesting posts of others, even as I interacted with other well-meaning members of this lovely community, in spite of my apparent busy schedule since the beginning of this week.

I couldn't get some medication the following day, that was on Monday, but on that day I resolved that I was going to get some drugs based on self-medication; so to say. I mean, what do you expect, at least I have a sister who's a nurse— and I can always ask her a few things. 😁. In other words, on Tuesday I finally got the necessary drugs I needed to treat my case...

A case I had thought was very mild, practically became much more severe than I had expected it... And I couldn't even create a post; and when I tried reading with my eyes, it was as if I was straining them, my left eye in particular. It looked as though it was going to close up! (light smile!) And the pain did affect my sleep that I was nearly restless on my bed that night.

Meanwhile, I tried a bit to keep up with steemit... and I discovered that @josediccus, a friend of mine had nominated me and someone else to participate in a very fascinating contest, which I would have loved to make an entry but I couldn't... It wasn't intentional.

While all these were happening, I almost lost the zeal to go out, but thank God I didn't... at least my spectacle saved me some real "questioning and answering sections" I would have had with everyone I probably would have met on my way, as I went in and out. 😆 You understand what I’m talking about, right? And I was able to take some photographs of some exquisite artifacts that I apparently I had not noticed all through my stay as an undergraduate, as I was moving from one office to another— signing and submitting documents here and there!

Nevertheless, the joy that accompanied the fact that I was making progress with my final clearance at school, coupled with the fact that my recovery was very certain in my heart of heart, kept me in an upbeat frame of mind.

Truly, "Health is Wealth", says WHO. I bless God that I have not only regained composure but my handsome face that I almost lost a couple of days back. 😁

To conclude this my #ulog post, I want you to always remember that trying periods don't last forever; they are just for a moment.

I don't know the predicament you're in at this point in time, but I believe that you will come out strong in no distant time, even as you look steadfastly on the One who is more than able to resolve issues in a beautiful order— God Almighty.

On this note, I think it's pertinent I thank @surpassinggoogle; Mr. Terry Ajayi for this opportunity to ulog this unique experience of mine. He's the brain behind this fast-growing community on the blockchain called @ulogs. Frankly speaking, #ulogs is a brilliant idea that many can attest to without hesitation.
