#Ulog day three(3): FELA DUROTOYE'S 2019 MOVEMENT!
Wow! wow!! wow!!! Steemians, it was just a great day today as a team of young and vibrant youths, willing to set an example for others to follow, embarked on a wonderful movement today.
If you are a youth in Nigeria and you haven't heard about the new and latest movement for A NEW NIGERIA spear headed by our very own capable, intellectual and most expedient motivational speaker FELA DUROTOYE, then you are probably not in Nigeria or not current with latest happenings.
However today happened to be his birthday and we(myself, @iamchijamz and other non-steemians) the youths, representing ụmụahia, Abịa state movement, decided to set an example for other youths by showing them the way to create A NEW NIGERIA.
The NEW NIGERIA in question is;
A NIGERIA where people can do community service voluntarily without expecting anything in return just to better the community.
A Nigeria where the voice of the young can be heard without having to hold any political or elevated status.
A Nigeria where the youth with active and bright minds have a greater say than the aging and elderly minds.
A Nigeria free of Nepotism and favoritism, where only the qualified gets the job. A NIGERIA WITH A BIG DIFFERENCE BOTH LOCALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY
These and many more are the things FELA DUROTOYE hopes to accomplish and trust me when I say the movement has started and is getting pretty serious, join the train now or regret tomorrow.
We have clamored enough for a better Nigeria and if we can't get it from the so called old and experienced men, then I strongly believe that we can get it from the young and vibrant Nigerian youths.
The journey of a thousand miles starts with a step
You and I can make a whole lot of difference in our NIGERIAN politics only if we put our minds to it.

Nice one bro. I've known about Fela Durotoye now for a while. Infact, he came to my University some years ago and shared his dream of a New Nigeria with us. His dream of Nigeria becoming one of the most desirable nations to live in by 2025. In fact, when Buhari was elected in 2015, I thought that was the beginning of the New Nigeria dream, so I changed my twitter username to New Nigeria.
Haven said all this, I don't believe Fela can do this work alone. Also, I do not believe Fela would have the strong powers to face the Nigerian power brokers (he looks too soft). What I see is a man who would yield to pressures at some point. Rulling Nigeria requires a man so strong and hard on the power brokers. This is the reason why I am routing for a man like Omoyele Sowore. He has proven to be a "destruptor" with what he has done with his media house, Sahara Reporters. It shows too that he has the country at heart given his various antecedents even from his days as a students Union leader even to the days of the June 12 struggle.
In conclusion, what I see as cool here is a collaboration amongst these minds, with Omoyele Sowore leading the way.
Very well said, the truth is, I just feel that we really need a young and hard working man to captain the ship.. And to talk of bending to pressures, FELA DUROTOYE already have mapped out plans Nd strategies of thing you are yet to envisage...
