―I have a little surprise for Juan, we'll go for a walk! - I said.

The face of emotion of my brother was manifest, I love seeing him like that. I told him that we had to leave at 10am so that we had a margin of time for transportation and to be able to arrive on time at 1PM. After breakfast I told him to take a bath and get dressed while I was doing the dishes and cleaning the kitchen a bit, later we were ready to go out for an afternoon to share time between siblings.
Leaving home was quite a task; we had to walk around five blocks to get to the subway station and to think I should do the same route every so often a week! We arrived at the station and then go down to the platform, although it was not crowded as it usually is between weeks, had to admit that to be Sunday was remarkably busy due to the problem with public transport in Caracas it is clear why ordinary citizens are forced to use the subway, often filling the capacity for which they were conceived.

When the train arrived we went to our destination while we talked a little about what would be our "siblings afternoon", Juan was really excited but had to keep the surprise until we arrived to the site, so when he asked:

―Brother, where are we going?

I replied with a tender but solid "When we get there, you'll see", to which he smiled.

After arriving at the terminal we made a short line transfer, having arrived at the station we went to the turnstiles on the way to the exit. The day was cloudy, it gave slight signs of rain and I remembered the umbrella that I carried in the backpack, also a sweater for me and Juan. After walking a couple of blocks up the street we arrived at the headquarters of Fedecamaras where the Teatrex (A theater franchise), of El Bosque is, upon entering we could see many children in animal costumes, all very happy and lively. Seeing the atmosphere so happy, Juan addressed me:
― Brother, what is this place?

―Surprise! I brought you to the theater, we’ll see a show!

Happy as he was, he hugged me and thanked me, after waiting a short time, Dr. Luisana (the person who had made the invitation a few days ago) received me with the tickets for me and my brother, the play was named "The Adventures of Tío Tigre and Tío Conejo"a classic Venezuelan children tale that surely people from all Venezuela heard or read at some time. I noticed that near the entrances to the auditorium there was a bar where they sold food as well as sweets and drinks, so I thought to buy something for both of them when the work was finished.

Punctual at 1 o'clock in the afternoon we were called to enter the auditorium to start the presentation, the acting teachers who were with the children offered words of thanks to the parents, as well as some common sense recommendations on cell phones and the video cameras ... And the show began.

In a few words the presentation of the children was splendid, cheerful, fun and funny. Full of color and music, both the young actors and the teachers did a wonderful and impeccable job. Juan and I got more than a laugh, more than a smile. When I left I went to the bar and bought my brother a little cupcake, then I noticed that they were also selling some beer in plastic cups, I decided to give myself a little taste and buy one. Before leaving, I went to thank Dr. Luisana for extending the invitation to the work and also to praise the work of the teachers.

We left there at 2 in the afternoon, doing the same route to return, when we were already halfway before reaching the metro station it started to rain and quickly I took out the umbrella, I helped my brother to put on the sweater, I put mine and we continue with our way back. This time the platform of the station was a little emptier and when the train arrived we climbed without any problem; we performed the same operation as when we were going to return home, the transfer and the journey to reach our destination. When we arrived at the house after making the respective walk, Mom received us with a warm hug and lunch ready, we discussed the work and our afternoon together.
Juan again thanked the gesture of taking him to the theater and asked him to take him back when the opportunity was presented again.
In conclusion I can say that it was a different day, a day where I could share with one of the most loved people in the world, the expectations on my plans were more than satisfied which makes me very happy and my brother too. A happy day in which the talent and affection of more than a dozen children delighted our coloring our evening of warm and happy nuances. An authentic siblings afternoon.
