ULOG (HOWTO): Extract Botanical Insecticide From Neem Plant ( Contd )
Fellow uloggers, i hope today has been splendid and blisful on your side.
For me, it was so tasking and energy draining physically.
Recall, i am on a botanical insecticide extraction process. I decided to pay a visit to the okra farm we will be applying it on today in company of my farmer friend.
To my uttermost surprise, the whole experimental plot has been filled with weed. Her explanation being that she was unavoidably absent to tend to them.
What could we do? we had to get down to work immediately in order to salvage the crops from the weeds.
There were about 12 rows in total about 3 metres long, we starte weeding around 3pm and stopped on the fifth row around 6pm.
We plan to continue early the morning tomorrow.
Since i got home late around 7 pm, i couldnt continue with the extraction process as i was soooo tired and exhausted.
The neem plant solution is past 24hrs now and the leaves have properly been extracted, with the solution colour darker and thicker.
You will notice it is much different from when it was first mixed in the image below.
And additionally the smell is a little bit offensive.

This is highly educative, what amount of water did you mix with the plant?
I mixed about 2 litres of water to about 250g of grinded neem, thank you.
